Rolyn Hills B&B and Guest Ranch

Just east of Red Deer, in central Alberta, you will find the Rolyn Hills Bed and Breakfast. When you stay there, with hosts Lynda and Rob Purdie, you will be treated to good old fashioned western hospitality.

We have different accommodations, depending on your needs. Our Ranch House has three bedrooms on the lower level with double and queen beds, and two shared bathrooms. A pleasant alternative for accommodation is our guest house, The Homestead.  Originally an old granary, the building was transformed into a rustic, modern, very comfortable, self catering cabin. The dorm style bedroom contains a queen bed with a loft above it with a double bed, and 4 single bunks along the walls.   All have beautiful, cozy, hand made quilts and comfortable mattresses - a recipe for a good nights sleep in your home away from home.

A large shower and bathroom have easy access from the bedroom; another bath is located near the kitchen - sitting room.  A full kitchen makes meal prep easy, and clean up is much easier with the help of the dishwasher.  Family and friends can enjoy your culinary expertise! Breakfast menus are discussed upon your arrival - we will do our best to cater to special diets.  Otherwise, a hearty breakfast of fruit, muffins, juice, coffee & tea or milk, will accompany a hot entree: pancakes and sausage, bacon and eggs, omelets, French toast, oatmeal, etc. Guests are well fortified as they start their day - either to experience our ranch life style, enjoy all that the Red Deer area has to offer, or to continue on their way down the road. There is always an opportunity to visit with the hosts while enjoying their surroundings - sharing and learning about each other.
